Who I am

Kevin Grillot is an independent SEO consultant in Lyon, certified by Google, Semrush and HubSpot (22 certifications). What is the difference between SEO and GEO?

SEO measures rankings and traffic; GEO measures mentions and brand awareness. The two are complementary: good SEO makes GEO easier, but GEO requires specific techniques (factual structure, schema, citations).

For a new website, allow 4 to 6 months to see first rankings on low-competition searches, and 9 to 12 months for significant revenue results.
